Tuesday Newsday

Tuesday Newsday!

15/6/2010

Hello, this is MsKittyCullen giving you a summary of the twi-tastic news of the week.

So, of course I will have to recap you on the MTV Movie Awards where New Moon boss'd the show.

They won:
Best Global Moviestar: Robert Pattinson.
Best male Performance: Robert Pattinson
Best Kiss: Robert Pattinson +Kristen Stewart.
Best Female Performance: Kristen Stewart
Best Movie Winner: The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Congratulations to all the New Moon cast!

The woman in red seems to look more horrified about get her photo taken than Kristen does.

On that note, Kristen Stewart has finally talked about the MTV Movie kiss ideas...

“He did have some pretty funny ones,” she admitted. But when asked if she regretted not acting on any of Pattinson’s ideas, she responded, “No, no, definitely not. I’m really glad that we didn’t do his.”

What was Pattinson’s best suggestion, you might ask? It seems as if he took a page right out of the book of his upcoming film “Water for Elephants” for this one.

“He wanted to be hula hooping with a match in his mouth, and then he wanted to light a match while I was juggling and he was hula hooping, and he wanted to put it in my mouth and see if we could make our way over to each other … it didn’t really make a whole lot of sense to me,” Stewart said with a laugh. “I was like, ‘I can’t juggle onstage in shoes. I can barely walk up the stairs.’

Haha, oh Rob, you're such a joker...

Ahem, moving on...

The news that we have been eagerly waiting for (that is, if you actually liked Breaking Dawn) has finally became official. Summit has confirmed that Breaking Dawn will be split into two films, although I think most people knew that was going to happen. Both of the films will be directed by Bill Condon, but unfortunately after Eclipse has hit cinemas we won't get any more twi-action for the next eighteen months!

Talking about Eclipse, the director, David Slade, has tweeted the world that he has finally finished Eclipse, and his fiancé took a photo of his expression afterwards.

Nice one, Dave! ;D

Also, of course, there was the highly anticipated Twi-Con.

I have found a fanmade video where the cast answer fan questions, and we get to know what Taylor's most embarrassing moment was on set and there is a whole lot of taking the piss between cast members. Click here to have a look, although the screaming may put you off, haha.

Now, onto fandom related news...
